- A superb British romantic comedy in which lawyer, Kate Beckenham (Natascha McElhone), lands the case of a lifetime, but her courtroom opponent is the charming Jack Sullivan (James Frain) who has never lost a single case. Crossing horns over the case of gold-digging American widow (Parker Posey) who is fighting for the £15 million estate of her deceased husband against his son Gerald Burton Jr. (Charles Dance), they try every trick in the legal book to outwit the other side. But will a battle for the truth eventually lead to true love?
