Former car trader Mike Brewer and mechanic Edd China bring their gift for restoring classic cars to bear on a Triumph.
Triumph Spitfire - Part 1 (2009) Mike Brewer has £5,000 to purchase and restore a classicTriumph Spitfire. Buying it in the middle of winter he is hoping to get a better deal then, with the help of Edd China, have it ready for the spring market. The 1980 Mark 4 Triumph Spitfire is exactly what Mike has been looking for and after some negotiation he becomes the proud owner of this iconic car. He transports it back to the workshop where Edd discovers that the Spitfire misfires, it has a squidgy suspension and whiny differential, but this won't get in his way of getting this car back on top form ready for Mike to make a profit.
Triumph Spitfire - Part 2 (2009) Edd decides that the Spitfire needs to be converted to unleaded to appeal to a wider market, he also has to replace the Differential and the Rear Shock absorbers to get this car back to its former glory. As a finishing touch Edd also has the bumpers, petrol cap and handles chromed. Once the test drive is complete it is time to sell this little beauty for a profit.
Triumph Stag (2010) Mike tries to find a rust-free classic Stag, but it's harder than he thinks. Edd will have to keep costs super low for any chance of a profit on this one.
