Born in Virginia in 1932, Cline worked hard to overcome personal issues and industry gender biases to make it to the top and became recognised as one of the most influential figures in the country scene. The film features archive footage and interviews with artists such as LeAnn Rimes, Wanda Jackson, Bill Anderson and Kacey Musgraves.
