Two segmented Cudgel, known in the west as nunchaku, is the most practical attacking technique in Chinese traditional cultural of martial arts. With more techniques added to it on the basis of preliminary stances, the secondary nineteen stances emphasizes various practice of holding the cudgel by single hand, and technique practice in all direction, such as stealthy substitution, overturning river, Turning back and looking at moon etc. It is an improving practice for new learners to prepare well for the advanced classic techniques program as only repeated diligence leads to success. New learners should stick to frequent practice, laying a solid foundation taught in the preliminary program before attempting the other higher techniques of the intermediate and advanced programs.
