Life at Leopard’s Den is fraught, challenging, exciting, frustrating and full of love for the Africa the Trevanions have chosen to live in. But hard as it is for Danny caring for animals wild and otherwise, it’s almost harder for Sarah and her mother caring for the guests who pay their way. With Mara, the rival game park, taken over by a hard-nosed American businessman, opportunities arise as well as challenges. Dreams of an Animal Hospital may well come true as the barriers between Mara and Leopard’s Den begin to come down.
Life and nature has much in store for the Trevanion family; new proposals, predatory ex-girlfriends, a mysterious White Lion, weddings and funerals, a fierce drought and a fiercer forest fire. Some things are about to change forever and no one’s life will be untouched.
