- Synopsis:
- A thrilling sports drama based on the true story of Will Parker (Matthew Modine), the first American to lose the America's Cup trophy in the 140-year history of the race. Unfortunately, the Cup isn't the only thing that Parker loses. When Parker's girlfriend, Kate (Jennifer Grey) an experienced sailor, is denied a place on the crew, she leaves. Desperate to win back the Cup, Parker decides to build a yacht that will ensure his success. With financial backing and a designer on board, Parker just might be able to realise his dream and perhaps even win back the woman he lost.
