Rent Within These Walls (1974 - 1978)

Within These Walls is a British drama series about the inmates and staff at a womens prison. The series follows Governor Faye Boswell (Googie Withers) as she attempts to create change in the prison system despite its stuck in its ways attitude and how she tries to manage her personal life despite her job. The series looks at Faye’s problems with her own life but also the trouble that the inmates and her own staff cause when she isn’t around to keep an eye on things.
