Witness: Events of the 20th Century: Great Survivors (1999)

David Frost presents two programmes chronicling notable events of the 20th century. 'Survival of the Fittest' profiles those great survivors who clung onto life when the odds were heavily stacked against them, including Tony Bullimore, who was stranded in the ocean, and Bob Champion, who triumphed over cancer to win the Grand National. 'Against All Odds' features those who fought against and won over adversity, including Nelson Mandela and the crew of Apollo 13.
