A smash hit on its original theatrical release, this live-action musical extravaganza from writer/ director Lionel Jeffries was released at the height of the Womblemania phenomenon generated by both the television series and Elisabeth Beresford's perennial favourite children's stories. Featuring Mike Batt's memorable songs, 'Wombling Free' contains the vocal Worn bling talents of comedy legend David Jason, comedienne Janet Brown and Doctor Who/Worzel Gummidge star Jon Pertwee - alongside Bonnie Langford as a little girl who can see and talk to the Wombles! Young Felicity 'Kim' Frogmorton is a girl who is amazed to see large furry animals cleaning up the rubbish on Wimbledon Common - much to her father's disbelief.
