The magic of India has enticed and hypnotised generations of travellers from all nations and walks of life. Now let the warm welcome of the Deccan Odyssey cast its spell as we take a 7 day journey from Bombay to Goa and back again, via some of India's most spectacular sights. We board our "rolling hotel" in the chaotic city of Mumbai (previously Bombay) and head south along the coast taking in views of sandy beaches and jungle-wrapped temples. Whether having lunch or dinner, the views from the grand dining room are mesmerising, as are the tastes and smells of the cuisine on offer. Having arrived in the Portuguese-influenced city of Goa, we head north taking in local villages, ancient forts and finally the wondrous caves at Ajanta. - Directors:
