Sit back and relax as we enjoy a transcontinental voyage that takes us from the "Emerald City" of Seattle along Puget Sound, deep into Washington's famous evergreen forests and the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Adjust your watches as we pass into another time zone and soak up the spectacular scenery of the Glacier National Park. From here the Empire Builder crosses Maria's Pass and drops down onto the Great Plains of Montana and North Dakota. Our modern-day prairie schooner will ferry us effortlessly onward to the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, then southwards along the Mississippi, ending up in the "Windy City" of Chicago.
