On June 6th,1944,at 6.30 am Allied troops landed on the beaches of Normandy for the beginning of the end of World War 2. Despite being heavily outgunned and outmanned,the Allies led the way to victory partly due to Hitler's arrogance in thinking that he could break up the Alliance. This is the story of the battle for the Normandy beaches and the heroism of the Allied troops.
