Synopsis:
The tale of disturbed soldier Wozzeck, whose common-law wife begins an affair with the Drum Major. Wozzeck's visions of doom are made light of by his friend Andres, but when the Doctor, employing Wozzeck as a guinea pig, taunts him about Marie's infidelity, Wozzeck vows revenge. This production took place in Berlin in 1994, and features Daniel Barenboim conducting.
