"Yoga For Pregnancy and Childbirth" takes women through a series of Yoga exercises and relaxation techniques. User-friendly, accessible and effective, it aims to help women throughout pregnancy achieve a greater sense of well-being and confidence. It is devised and presented by Wendy Teasdill, a yoga practitioner, writer and teacher with over twenty-five years of experience. She has travelled widely and given birth to three children. yoga has been a constant companion through shifting scenes. She is qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga (the governing body for Yoga in Great Britain), for whom she trains teachers to teach "Pregnancy Yoga". "Pregnancy Yoga" is an ever-expanding bloom whose roots remain securely in the ground: drawing on the spectrum of techniques to be found within the Toga tradition, Wendy teaches with firm foundations and a light touch. This video is relaxed in tone and informal in its presentation style. All the exercise routines take place in a beautiful and peaceful domestic setting, reflecting Wendy's philosophy and practice of Yoga. We advise that you consult your midwife or doctor before undertaking this exercise programme. All the exercises are suitable for women from sixteen weeks of pregnancy up to term. The breath awareness and relaxation techniques are beneficial at all times.
