Yoga for the Inflexibles: Beginners and Beyond was created to counter the common misconception that you have to be flexible to practice Yoga. Physical flexibility is a by-product of Yoga, and your age, size, or stiffness are no barriers to you beginning a fruitful practice. This feature is designed to show you that Yoga is about your relationship with yourself, and how to improve it. Ultimately, this Yoga programme is about feeling good.
In this programme you will learn how to: - Deeply Relax
- Develop a relationship with your breath
- Release toxins from all your vital organs and body systems to feel cleansed and revived
- Enhance the production of endorphins ('happy vibes')
- Tone and lengthen muscles
- Open your joints
- Start to develop a relationship with your spine
- Achieve a number of classical yoga postures
- Massage and stimulate your digestive system
- Release stress and anxiety
- Feel a balance and harmony between mind, body and spirit
