"You Can't Go Back" takes a revealing look at friendship, fame, ageing and the creative process as Del Amitri's founding members, singer Justin Currie and guitarist lain Harvie, make Fatal Mistakes, the band's first new album in 20 years. It features live performances, hits from the 90s, interviews and previously unseen archive. Justin and lain question whether they can still make music as intense (and popular) as they did in their prime and face the unexpected challenge of the pandemic. If they can't go back can they still move forward or is this all indeed a fatal mistake?
