At 40, Olivia (Lucy Punch) is a career-driven lawyer in a stable relationship with her younger girlfriend, Alex (Faye Marsay). Happy at home and at work, Olivia has no interest in children - until the day she finds herself sobbing uncontrollably over a friend's pregnancy. Confused by Olivia's sudden change of heart and sticking by her own anti-maternal principles, Alex strikes back recklessly...with their all too willing neighbour, John (David Tennant).
