Synopsis:
This 8-part mini-series chronicles the early years of Sherlock Holmes (Guy Henry), imagining him as a curious 17-year-old schoolboy on the verge of becoming an accomplished, world-class sleuth. The year is 1871, and a young Holmes returns to his former childhood home to investigate some mysterious happenings. The seemingly honorable Turnbulls are the manor's new occupants, but underneath their respectable facades the couple harbors more than a few curious secrets. Holmes's burgeoning detective skills are soon put to the test when he uncovers a sinister plot involving the Turnbulls, a priceless diamond, and the Queen (Marina McConnell) herself.
