Founded in 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has established itself as one of the most prestigious annual music events in the world. Youssou N'Dour is one of the true superstars of African music. This concert from 1989 features him with his band Le Super Etoile de Dakar in the first of the four appearances he has made at the Montreux festival to date.
