- Z Nation is an American mixed genre (comedy horror) post-apocalyptic TV series created by Craig Engler and Karl Schaefer, starring Anastasia Baranova, Kellita Smith and Keith Allan among other actors. The show is set three years after the zombie apocalypse nearly wipes out the USA and follows several unlikely heroes who try to bring what’s known as the only plague survivor to the last known medical laboratory in California.
