Zach Galifianakis started his so-called career in the back of a hamburger joint in New York. Well-known and loved in the U.S. by the Comedy Central crowd, he played director Alan Finger in the series Dog Bites Man and wowed the critics with his acclaimed VH1 show, Late World With Zach. He is probably best-known to U.K. audiences though for his parts in the movies What Happens In Vegas, and The Hangover. A master of the one-liner and non-sequiter, with an absurd rambling style that sees him as frequently roving through the audience as he is seated at his on-stage piano, Zach's sharp and contemporary humour makes this live recording of his"stand-up" show at the famed Purple Onion in San Francisco an absolute classic of the genre.
