Zhaoyang Quan is created and edited by Zhanquan Buddhist Monk in the Qing dynasty. He worked out the Zhaoyang Quan on the basic of Chaoyang Quan, and combined it with practical combat technique. It was created with repeated deliberation and was sublimed. Its foot technique is quite simple and its attacking technique is very quick. It mostly uses the leg technique to subdue the enemy. It can jump and attack the opponent when far from him and avoid being b eaten when close to the opponent. It is very good at using the foot technique like jumping, turning over, rolling, big striding, snapping kick in the air and flying kicking and so on to attack the opponent's vital parts. Although it also uses the techniques of arm, elbow, fist and head, these are mainly practised to protect yourself and find chances to attack others. In fact it uses the movement of the upper part of the body to puzzle the enemy, and attack the lower part of the enemy with the technique of your lower part. Thus you can take the opponent by surprise. This is one of the special skills of Ahaolin Kung fu.
