In July 2009, Status Quo's hugely successful "Pictures" tour rolled into Montreux in Switzerland as part of the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival, an annual musical evet now celebrating its 43rd year. The band, led as always by the twin telecasters of Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt, delivered a blistering set of classic tracks covering their 40 years of hits with giant screens behind the stage illustrating high points from the Quo's career. With the temperature inside the auditorium soaring it was a hot and memorable night for band and fans alike that is brilliantly captured on this video. This 3 disc deluxe edition of "Pictures - Live at Montreux 2009" contains the full length concert video, the new documentary "Pictures: The Story of 40 Years of Hits" and a CD of tracks from the Montreux performance.
