Dennis Hopper and Michael Madsen star in this darkly comic thriller about the seedier side of Hollywood. Hopper plays Frankie, a kind-hearted gopher working for the Hollywood mafia, whose main line of business is making porno movies. Constantly tyrannised by his violent, unpredictable boss, Sal (Madsen), Frankie sees the way out of the gutter lies in making his own movie. In return for placing his bets, Frankie enlists the halp of Joey (Kiefer Sutherland), a wannabe Hollywood director paying off his gambling debts to Sal by making his skin flicks. However Sal has many eyes on the street and sees what Frankie's up to. His reaction is swift and unrelenting, forcing Frankie to watch as he mockingly films the torture of Joey and Margaret (Darryl Hannah), a porn actress whom Frankie secretly loves. Vengeance, not escape, now plagues Frankie's mind as he vows to make Sal pay... in more ways than one.

Just as Flash finds a way to the ship, Ming realises that Flash will probably use the Solarite against him, so he hides in the tower where he hopes to use the controls to shoot the solarite ship out of the sky. Flash sets the ship on a course for the tower and jumps into Dr. Zarkov's ship. At the end of this third and final Flash Gordon series, will Flash indeed Conquer the Universe?
Frank reaches Mongo just in time to rescue Dr. Zarkov from Ming's torture chamber, but, he too is caught in the destroying ray and only at the last minute are they rescued. Zarkov is brought to Ming's throne room and agrees to use his genius to help Ming conquer the universe in return for his life. Instead, in Ming's lab, Zarkov teams up with Karm to break Ming's evil power. Zarkov has created a new magnetic gun which will paralyse Ming's power plant. Meantime, Ming overhears and reveals to Aura that he has set a bomb for Zarkov and Flash. The bomb detonates and our heroes find themselves at the mercy of the Rock Men who threaten to kill them unless they find their King's son. Flash and Zarkov manage to escape from the caves and find the King's son. Flash sends Zarkov to inform the King, but Zarkov is delayed by a giant lizard. At that moment, Dale is being lowered into a fiery pit...
