Justice in the Deep South - A Time to Kill review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
21/10/2010

For those who like court room dramas, this film will fit the bill. It drips the atmosphere of the deep south through the settings and characters. Although some aspects of the film are a little mechanical, as a whole this film worked for me because of the tantalising relationship between McConaughey and Bullock and their fight for justice in a small town. Kevin Spacey's performance as a politically-driven DA is superb. The legal arguments are at times outrageous - but then isn't that true to life in the American court room?

Vintage Grisham - A Time to Kill review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
28/03/2005

If you liked The Firm or The Pelican Brief you will appreciate the John Grisham style. This film tackles issues of race through the "lawyer up against the system" genre which is Grisham's forte.

Well above average film. Not quite in the firm / pelican brief's league but well worth a look

Not the best movie - A Time to Kill review by CS

Spoiler Alert

Despite a good cast this movie plods along somewhat. Nonetheless, quite entertaining and good storyline.

Would'nt watch a second time or pay to see in a cinema.
