- Laura (Penelope Cruz) and her children travel from Buenos Aires to the small Spanish village where she was born to attend her sister's wedding. Unexpected events soon lead to a crisis that exposes the family's hidden past. DISAPPOINTING ENDING - Everybody Knows review by NS
Great cast and what should of been a terrific thriller, but for one reason. The film itself builds slowly, and centres on a family wedding and the disappearance of a girl. The tension builds in what should of been a good thriller. The disappointment being the ending. Very flat

Annoying English commentary - Everybody Knows review by SoniaGee
I like films from Europe very often, but this one, with well-known actors, disappointed, as I wanted english sub-titles.
Instead, an almost continuous voice, there was a woman's voice, speaking in english,-- when silence would have been more suitable.
The film was longer than it could have been. I turned it off before the end.
