Worthy

Interesting, well acted, beautiful script, almost like a documentary in style.
If you like art, hate cgi and violence , you will enjoy this movie.

Like watching paint dry - literally

You would think that watching a film about a man sitting for a portrait would be dull. And it is. Lots of cigarette smoking, some 60's and Paris cliches.

Getting to the character
- Final Portrait review by RR
Check the trailer, if you like that you'll like this, exactly what I thought I was going to watch, a situation and the people therein, a good look at character, I enjoyed it and found a lot of real life humour in it.

Don't Rush it.

Geoffrey always worth watching, but is a fairly slow film, with nobody helping to bring it alive much. Long way from Our Man in Havana with Piers and co..............

Uneventful
- Final Portrait review by AL
It's a pity that such an interesting subject should produce such a dull movie. At face value, Lord is a shallow individual without much of a story or life. The highlights consist of a screaming whore who punctuates the grey landscape. Rush's French accent punctuated with an Australian pronunciation did raise a laugh, earning the film it's one star.

A disappointment
- Final Portrait review by Maureen
I had assumed that a film about Giaciometti would be interesting or even slightly interesting. It wasn't. My wife persevered but I did a crossword. I give it 0 out of 5.
