- Synopsis:
- After receiving a letter from her visually impaired (and ever so slightly senile) Aunt Martha (Emmanuelle Riva), Fiona (Fiona Gordon) takes the trip from Canada to France. Except Martha has disappeared, putting Fiona in the middle of a calamitous hunt for the missing nonagenarian. After a mishap while taking a picture at the Eiffel Tower, Fiona finds herself without any of her belongings, soaking wet and, as the title suggests, Lost in Paris. A chance meeting with a quirky homeless man, Dom (Dominique Abel), sees a relationship blossom across the city's famous sights and streets.

Hilarious, totally unexpected! - Lost in Paris review by LA
Very individual film made by its two co-stars, classic French Burlesque in the style of Buster Keaton or other silent comedians, but in glorious technicolour.

Quirky but charming - Lost in Paris review by Mr Aquarium
Taste in comedy is very personal thing, but I agree with LA's review; very individual, almost silent movie in effect at points, and with some wonderful touches - look for the tie rack at the crematorium, and for who helps when the heroine is sure that she doesn't need a guide out of the cemetery...

Hilariously Funny - Lost in Paris review by AS
A happy and very amusing film which carried me along in cheerful mode. Yes, it has some hints of Monsieur Hulot but goes off along its own original path.
