This is about as realistic a football LGBTQ+ movie you are going to get, one that was partly helped by the football world, but only a little. We know how closted the world is, partly because of the ridicolous amounts of money involved in the business in the first place. Yes it's a little timid, yes it doesn't turn the football world upside down, but it's a step closer to the eventual truth we will get one day, from a very over closeted cloak and dagger world of a business that hides what it does not like, all because of hundreds and hundreds of millions of pounds it has swilling within it.
If you are a gay footballer but in the closet this a film for you. It will highlight the choices, options you have as to whether you remain closeted or open and the issues that can arise from either option
