Couldn't watch more than 20 minutes. It was all over the place. Not a clue who was who but it was obvious it was boring and mad no sense whatsoever. Quite disappointed.

Unwatchable - The World of Kanako review by Alphaville

Spoiler Alert
03/05/2017

An unwatchable mess of a film. The kind William Burroughs might have made using his cut-up technique. A mish-mash of confusing timelines, narrative non-sequiturs, disjointed close-ups and random editing. Like a talentless art student’s attempt to be different.

Apparently it’s about the investigation of a missing girl, but it makes no narrative or dramatic sense. It’s a mystery how it ever got released. Most viewers will have already given up on it before the opening credits appear.

Spoiler Alert

i love international films,i,m hardly ever disappointed, but there,s always a first time.this is the only film i can remember turning off before it ended.it jumps all over the place, you cant get to know the characters, and subsequently couldnt care less what happens.its not that i dont like a slow burner(which this definately isnt!)its some kind of a poor attempt at doing a tarrantino style movie, which me and my gf found to be absolute garbage
