- Synopsis:
- L.A. District Attorney Caulfield (Gene Hackman) travels to a remote cabin in Canada to retrieve Carol Hunnicutt (Anne Archer), a witness reluctant to testify in a top level mob slaying. But the killers have also discovered her whereabouts, forcing Caulfield and Hunnicutt to find refuge on a Vancouver-bound train with their assailants right behind. For the next twenty hours, a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues, pitting the D.A. and his star witness against two men whilst aboard a train speeding through the Canadian Rockies.
