- 'Storm Boy' has grown up to be Michael Kingley (Geoffrey Rush / Finn Little), a successful retired businessman and grandfather. When Kingley starts to see images from his past that he can't explain, he is forced to recall his long-forgotten childhood, growing up on an isolated coastline with his father (Jai Courtney). Superb film - Storm Boy review by RT
What a superb film. We enjoyed this very much. No sex, no violence and a great story well told. The boy's relationship with the Pelican, Mr. Percival, is moving at times too.

Painfully schmaltzy, tired, predictable plot but the cinematics and wildlife scenes were good. The cast deserved better.

Very touching story with beautiful scenery. Leaves you feeling very reflective on life in general. The Pelicans are marvellous but Mr Percival steals your heart. Superb acting throughout.
