Synopsis:
Their personal motives are steeped in tragedy. Their objective is to fight tyranny in the name of freedom. Their methods are deadly and explosive. This is the untold story of one of the most notorious and feared sects of the French resistance during WWII. A tense, uncompromising portrayal of how a disparate group of outsiders, from varying nationalities, joined forces to create an unstoppable underground army. This is also the story of Missak Manouchian, an Armenian poet and self-proclaimed pacifist who is suddenly thrown into a world where violence and conflict are the only means of survival.

At last a film about the French Resistance which shows the colusion the French Authorities with the German occupiers. Doesn't pull any punches on either side. Not comfortable viewing but well done. Not sure about the use of music.
