- Synopsis:
- A woman, whose son has been missing for some time, moves to the countryside with her husband, daughter and sick mother-in-law. Out walking one day near Mt. Jang, the woman meets a mute girl by the mouth of a cave, who seems to be either lost or abandoned. The girl reminds her so much of her own lost son that she takes her home with her, at least until such time that she can locate her parents, or guardian, and return her to them. It's not long before the girl begins to accurately mimic the voice of her daughter, and then increasingly strange, and sinister, events start to happen within the house...

Mimic...but NOT the Insect one ! - The Mimic review by porky
Spooky film starts off well ,sadly I felt the ending was a bit messy and let it all down ,but the build up to that was worth watching.
Subtitles can distract from action in some Horror movies, This one didnt seem to d that to badly ,though by the end i was a bit confused about the Evil Father /Daughter arrangement going on. Maybe that just didn't come across well in Translation.
Pretty good Ghost story though. worth seeing if Oriental Horror is a thing of yours ,certainly one of the better productions.
