- Synopsis:
- Early Middle Ages. The time of heavy swords and laws of blood revenge. The ruling family is tom apart by bitter rivalry. Prince Yaropolk is accused of accidentally murdering his brother. The responsibility for revenge falls upon Yaropolk's younger half-brother Vladimir, who refuses to comply with the blood law. His refusal to kill will cost him everything he has, because "it takes more swords to uphold peace than to wage war"...

Total Rubbish - Viking review by nm
Can't think of anything positive. Had to turn it off after 10 minutes. It was badly made, badly directed and just totally confusing. Awful film.

Viking Schmiking - Viking review by Alphaville
This Russian attempt at a Viking film is full of grizzled men shouting and battling each other in forests and forts. It’s also incoherent, completely lacking in dramatic content and ineptly directed. It will soon have you reaching for the off-button.
