Wild brilliance
- Wild Target review by CP Customer
Bill Nighy plays a blinder in this film. I was not looking forward to watching it, but it is extremely watchable and a bit difference. Funny and I am surprised I have not read more of this film in the papers.

Good comedy poor plot
- Wild Target review by JD
Spoilt by the almost inevitable evolving and predictable romance. The plot is slow and the direction sloppy but there is a comic genius about Martin Freeman's performance. Bill Nighy is as usual wryly amusing. I have a problem with all of the Harry Potter child actors. They are all dreadful, why are they so popular? Grint's meager efforts are dwarfed by all especially Everett's who plays a minor role excellently. Emily Blunt is unnotable in her role as a capricious, amoral, thief. Generally a reasonable comedy though the 12 certificate is generous in view of the assassination scenes.

Bill gets some romance at last.

Good little Brit film. No weak links in chain as all parts played professionally. Flows along pretty tight. Bill is a bit old for Emily, but good luck to him.
Throw backs to when Eric Sykes was a hit man. Some vague character set-ups to Fish Called Wanda perhaps?
All in all is well worth a watch..............

Excellent British film
- Wild Target review by Jamielou
Saw a preview of this on a trailer for something else and was surprised I'd never heard of it before as it came out a while ago. It's a decent film, shades of Grosse Point Blank which is never a bad thing. Bill Nighy is excellent as a hitman who can't quite bring himself to fulfill his latest job, and the rest of the cast is excellent including some "cameos" of people you'd never expect in this kind of film. Well worth a look and would definitely watch it again.

Fabulous
- Wild Target review by LA
A thousand times more entertaining than Knives Out, lovely cast make a really sympathetic team against some insane villains, despite being villains themselves. Bill Nighy just delightful and Emily and Rupert work really well as his team. Hilarious and strangely sympathetic. And bonus is Eileen Atkins as his mother, really insane...

Funny

Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt make an interesting twist on the professional assassin genre. Worth watching for Martin Freemans smile.

Dreadful rubbish
- Wild Target review by JJ
I have to admit I got this in error. Terrible cliched nonsense and I gave up after suave dapper hitman Bill whacked someone with a French quip on his lips, the manic pixie dream girl Emily got into her vintage Mini and ... that's as far as I got. Although was Rab C Nesbitt really in there too somewhere?
Anyway, fortunately CP have the French original I meant to put on my list in the first place, so I'll see that soon & forget this sooner.
