Filmed in HARTLEPOOL !
- Looted review by JD
This movie was much better than the reviews read. The main characters were well played and despite the sad circumstances the film ended on a Ray of Hope.
I was brought up in Hartlepool, and recognised the town from the thumbnails ! Worth watching just for the location, and it’s true, it is always sunny in Hartlepool.

Poor Production

Possibly an interesting story line if it were possible to understand what the Actors were saying. But, with no subtitles and a band of gabbling actors I lost interest after 15 minutes.

It was alright

Quite enjoyed it but the end was rubbish (sorry not a spoiler alert, it just was as if they ran out of story/time to film anything else)
Actors etc really good
Worth a watch

Very impressive and powerful

This film has great acting and links together the two parts of the main character’s life skilfully and well. The gang part of the film is refreshingly without violence but picks up on the excitement and buzz for young people living outside the law. The role of carer is also explored between son and father and the coming together of the two themes is handled really well via the character of the Polish girlfriend. I was kept entertained throughout - a very good film.

Rubbish

British social realism garbage with no discernible cinematic merit. Straight to the remainder bin. Congrats if you even make it through the trailer.
