It seems fitting that theatre's protesting, angry young man John Osborne (Look Back In Anger, The Entertainer) should write a play about one of history's social revolutionaries, and father Protestantism, Martin Luther. Luther was the ideological firebrand in the 16th century who challenged the hierarchy of the Catholic Church and what he saw as Papal excesses. Using this historical character, Osborne gives us a psychological insight into rebellion, both spiritually and politically, which is still relevant today.
Roger Waters, co-founder and principal songwriter of Pink Floyd, fuses the epic and the personal in 'Roger Waters: The Wall', a concert film that goes well beyond the stage. Based on the groundbreaking concept album, 'Roger Waters: The Wall' could be called a concept film: it's a state-of-the-art show that dazzles the senses, combined with an intensely personal road trip that deals with the loss Roger has felt throughout his life due to war. On stage and now on film, Waters has channelled his convictions into his art and his music. With 'Roger Waters: The Wall', Waters - together with his fellow musicians and his creative collaborators - brings audiences an exultant ride of a rock and roll concert, and delivers an unforgettable, deeply emotional experience.
From the co-founder and creative force behind Pink Floyd, 'Us + Them' is a highly-stylized, state-of-the-art visual production filmed in Amsterdam during Roger Waters' European tour of 2017 and 2018, which was seen by more than 2 million fans worldwide. Packed with an urgent message of human rights, liberty and love, 'Us + Them' features songs from Waters' latest album, 'Is This the Life We Really Want?', plus classics from Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon', 'The Wall', 'Animals', 'Wish You Were Here' and more. This film is the definitive document of that unmissable event.

Atmospheric, superbly scripted and filled with the unexpected, this remarkable anthology series offers spine-tingling psychological and supernatural tales for younger viewers. Capitalising on the success of its first series, producer Ruth Boswell (a major force in children's television and involved in such memorable productions as Timeslip, The Tomorrow People and Escape into Night) raised the bar with contributions from award-winning authors Penelope Lively, Rosemary Harris, Joan Aiken and Susan Cooper. Strongly remembered to this day, 'Shadows' is one of the quintessential children's drama series of the 1970's. An orphaned girl fights her real-life enemies by believing they are figures from her history book. A young girl suddenly finds herself in the miniature world of a Victorian doll's house. A downtrodden teenage boy relives the ancient legend of a youth who shared his plight in reality, or in his imagination? But what other terrors hide among the shadows?
